Abstract: Although production safety cost has been implemented for nearly 10 years in hydropower construction, the related parties still lack understanding and management experiences. Through analyzing the management status quo of safety production cost in hydropower construction and taking a project as a case, this paper unveils the shortcomings and risks in safety production cost management at present.  Aiming at resolving the risks, we put forward some countermeasures and suggestions and make an active exploration and thinking on roles and responsibilities of owner and the construction party in management of drawing and using safety production cost.
