Layout design of diversion and power generation structures in Karot Hydropower Station

摘要: 卡洛特水电站是巴基斯坦境内Jhelum河规划的5个梯级电站的第4级,机组单机引用流量312.1 m3/s,额定水头65 m,为典型的大流量、中等水头电站。坝址区位于红层地区,地基主要为软岩或较软岩,同时水库泥沙含量高,电站发电尾水变幅大,坝址区地震烈度高。为了妥善应对上述设计重难点,设计过程中结合地形地质条件和枢纽建筑物总体布置,依据相关规程规范,通过进水口防沙排沙设计、输水线路优化、地面厂房布置优化和结构措施等,提出了技术可行、经济合理的引水发电建筑物布置方案。相关设计成果可供同类工程参考。

Abstract: Karot Hydropower Station is the fourth of the totally five cascade hydropower stations on Jhelum River in Pakistan. This hydropower station is a typical power station with large flow and medium water head with quoted flow of 312.1 m3/s for each unit and rated water head of 65m. Dam site area is located in the red bed region and the foundation is mainly soft rock. Also, there is high sediment content in the reservoir, large amplitude of tail water level for powerhouse, and high earthquake intensity in the dam area. In the design, sediment-proof and ejection for power intake, optimization for water delivery line, layout optimization and structure measures were done according to relevant codes, by taking the topography and geological conditions and general layout of pivot buildings into consideration. The layout scheme of diversion and power generation structures with feasibility in technology and rationality in economic has been proposed and the relevant design achievements can be referred by similar projects.
