Experimental study on permeability characteristics of lime-treated loess

摘要: 为了研究石灰掺量对黄土压实特性与渗透特性的影响,以甘肃省庆阳地区黄土为研究对象,进行了不同石灰掺量下的标准击实试验与不同掺量、不同干密度下的变水头渗透试验,并对有代表性的试样进行了电镜扫描。试验结果表明:随着石灰掺量的增加,改良黄土的最大干密度drmax越来越小,对应的最优含水率wopt越来越大;当石灰掺量从0增加到3%时,最大干密度drmax的减小幅度最大;素黄土与改良黄土的饱和渗透系数ksat均随孔隙比e的增大而增大,且在半对数坐标中呈线性关系,不同掺量下的拟合曲线相互平行,但截距有所不同。结合电镜扫描结果对黄土的微结构从定性及定量角度分析可知,大中孔隙的数量及面积决定着黄土渗透性。

Abstract: In order to study the influence of lime content on compaction and permeability of loess, the standard compaction test and variable head permeability test under different lime content and different dry density were carried out for loess samples collected at Qingyang City, Gansu Province. The test results showed that with the increasing of lime content, the maximum dry density drmax of the improved loess became smaller, and the corresponding optimal moisture content wopt became larger. When the lime content increased from 0 to 3%, the maximum dry density drmax decreased the most. The saturated permeability coefficient ksat of original loess and modified loess increased with the increasing of pore ratio e, and it is linear in semi-logarithmic coordinates, the fitting curves of different lime content were parallel to each other. Based on the results of scanning electron microscope, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of loess micro-structure showed that the numbers and area of large and medium-sized pores determined the loess permeability.
