ITZ强度对混凝土裂隙扩展影响的DEM模拟研究

Influence of interfacial transition zone strength on concrete crack propagation by DEM simulation

摘要: 混凝土的粗骨料与砂浆之间存在界面过渡区(ITZ),过渡区的力学性质受骨料的形状、大小、含量、空间分布及初始裂隙等条件影响。为研究过渡区强度对混凝土材料性能的影响,采用离散元软件PFC2D建立了随机骨料分布的混凝土模型,并对其进行了单轴压缩试验。试验发现:当过渡区强度增大时,混凝土的峰值应力和初始裂隙产生时的应变逐渐增大,总裂隙数减少,破坏类型由受剪破坏转变为受拉破坏,并且过渡区强度增强会使混凝土的起裂区域由过渡区转移至砂浆聚集区。模拟结果可为混凝土界面过渡区的理论研究提供一定参考。

Abstract: There is an interfacial transition zone (ITZ) between the coarse aggregate and mortar of concrete. The mechanical properties of ITZ are affected by the shape, size, content, spatial distribution and initial cracks of the aggregate. In order to study the influence of the ITZ strength on the properties of concrete materials, this paper used the discrete element software PFC2D to establish a concrete model with random aggregate distribution, and conducted uniaxial compression tests on it. It was found that when the strength of transition zone increased, the peak stress and crack initiation strain of concrete gradually increased, and the total number of cracks decreased. At the same time, when the strength of the transition zone increased, the failure type changed from shear failure to tensile failure, and the increase in the strength of the transition zone would transfer the crack initiation area of concrete from the transition zone to the mortar accumulation area. The simulation results can provide certain reference for the theoretical study on the ITZ in concrete.
