Abstract:

With the rapid development of civil engineering construction in China, there is a explosive growth for the engineering geological data. So it is important to realize the share, mass storage and remote transmission of engineering geological data. This paper introduces the design, content, construction process of engineering geological database and its practical application. The practice shows that the engineering geological database can improve the efficiency of geological investigation, and provide important basis for integration and share of geological investigation results.
