Abstract:

The single unit capacity of Jinping Hydropower Station I is 600MW, and the cylinder valve of the unit has a diameter of 8750mm. With the large diameter and weight as well as the highest head in China, the cylinder valve is controlled by the electro-hydraulic synchronized servo drives. The structural characteristics, installation techniques and the difficult and important points in the installation process of the cylinder valve are introduced in details. Through the installation practice of the cylinder valve for the generator unit in Jinpin Hydropower Station I, the installation techniques and technical control measures are summarized with the expectation of providing reference for the design, installation and debug of cylinder valve in other hydropower stations.
