Abstract:

Influenced by earthquake, a mud leakage incident of a tailing bauxite pond occurred, resulting in farmland inundation and water pollution at the downstream. Armed Police Hydropower Engineering Troops arrived at the site to survey and analyze the risk situation soon after they took over the emergency rescue task, found out the causes for the accident and made out the emergent treatment scheme. The scheme has been implemented with sound effects and ensured the safety of downstream farmland and water quality. The experience obtained in the whole process such as the accident analysis, the formulation of the emergency rescue scheme, construction organizing and logistics supporting provides reference experience for similar accident treatment in future.
