Abstract: According to the situation of Changjiang River protection-governance and the flood and waterlogging in recent decades, we summarize the achievements in the construction of flood control and disaster mitigation system of Changjiang River, analyze the main weak links in the system and put forward some countermeasures to improve the flood control capacity of Changjiang River, which could provide strong support and assurance for the establishment of a water conservancy development pattern of protecting, servicing, improving and benefiting people's livelihood, as well as the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the building of a well-off society in an all-round way.
