Abstract: On August 8,2017,the Jiuzhaigou Valley Ms7.0 earthquake in Sichuan Province triggered more than 1000 co-seismic geological hazards. After the rainy season of 2018,some co-seismic hazards in the study area revive and new hazards occur, which bring new threats to post-earthquake reconstruction and ecological restoration in the Jiuzhaigou Valley.Based on the interpretation of post-earthquake geological hazards from three high-resolution remote sensing images around the rainy season in 2018 and combined with field investigation, the activity of post-earthquake geological hazards was studied by dividing the revival grade.Five factors(elevation, slope, slope direction, distance from fault,PGA)were taken to make a preliminary analysis on post-earthquake geological hazards. Finally, the deterministic coefficient method was used to evaluate the vulnerability of post-earthquake geological hazards in the study area. The results show that:373 post-earthquake geological hazards in the study area were eventually identified, and the total disaster area was about 2.15 km2.The quantity of post-earthquake geological hazards was less than co-seismic geological hazards, and the new-born small-scale collapse was dominant in post-earthquake geological hazards, and the impact of rainfall on new-born hazards was greater than that on revival hazards. The Zharu Temple and Panda Sea area were located in the high-risk area. The results are of positive significance to the study of geological hazards and post-earthquake reconstruction in Jiuzhaigou Valley.
