Response characteristics of meso-parameters to macro-parameters of composite rock discontinuities based on discrete element method

摘要: 在基于离散元的复合岩体结构面数值模拟中,细观参数校核是重中之重,而探讨宏细观参数之间的响应特征可为细观参数校核提供重要依据。分别利用粘结强度清除法和Smooth-joint模型建立复合平直结构面数值模型,深入分析了两种不同方法所建立的结构面宏细观参数响应关系。研究结果表明:在基于粘结强度清除法的平直结构面模型中,峰值强度与细观颗粒摩擦系数值呈正相关;应用Smooth-joint模型模拟结构面时,细观基本摩擦系数(sj_fric)与结构面宏观基本摩擦角呈正相关且约等于其反正切值;细观法向刚度(sj_kn)和细观切向刚度(sj_ks)分别与结构面宏观的法向刚度和切向刚度呈正相关。最后结合拟合与试错法给出了新的参数校核模型,该模型具有准确和效率高的优点,可为结构面细观参数快速、高精度校核提供重要参考。

Abstract: The verification of meso-parameters is the top importance in the numerical simulation of composite rock discontinuities based on discrete elements method.And the discussion on the response relationship characteristics of macro-parameters and meso-parameters can provide an important reference for the verification of meso-parameters.In this paper, the bond removing method and the Smooth-joint model are used to establish a plane discontinuities numerical model with different joint wall strengths respectively.And the response relationship of the macro-parameters and meso-parameters of the plane joint established by the two different methods is deeply analyzed.The research shows that in the planar rock joint model based on the bond removing method, the peak strength is positively correlated with the meso granular friction coefficient value.When simulating the planar rock joint based on the smooth-joint model, the meso-basic friction coefficient sj_fric,is positively correlated with the macroscopic basic friction angle and is approximately equal to its arc tangent value.The meso-normal stiffness sj_kn and meso-shear stiffness sj_ks are positively correlated with the macroscopic normal stiffness and shear stiffness of the rock joint, respectively.And a parameter calibration model is given by fitting equation and trial and error method, which provides an important reference for the fast and high-precised calibration of the meso-parameters of the rock joint.
