Abstract: The rapid development of regional economy caused destruction to the eco-environmental system and how to coordinate the relationship between regional economy and eco-environmental system becomes a primary task for regional sustainable development. Based on PSR model, an index system of economy and eco-environment coordination analysis of Hubei Province is established. By Principal Component Analysis, the economy and eco-environmental coordination of Hubei Province for the ten years from 2005 to 2014 was analyzed by static and dynamic coordination models. The analysis showed that in the analysis period, the static coordination manifested a upward trend from 2005 to 2010 but a downward trend from 2010 to 2014; the dynamic coordination was not on a rising tendency, indicating that the economy and eco-environment were not always in the coordinated development track, the improvement of eco-environment has been too difficult to meet the requirement of regional development.
