Abstract:

The rural migrants′ mode of production and living style in Dangjiangkou Reservoir Area has changed after the resettlement, so did their income and expense structure. To understand their current life and production, an investigation focusing on their gross income and gross expense was conducted by means of questionnaire, in which per capita gross income and per capita gross expense were taken as the evaluation indicators. The investigation and analysis found that both the current income and expense of the migrants had exceeded their original level but stayed lower than those of the original residents in the resettlement area. The living conditions, standard and quality were greatly improved. The tracking surveys for the living status are still expected to help the government formulate assistance and supporting measures in the future. 
