Abstract:

An inspection to the river-crossing project of Zhanghe River, in MRP of South-to-North Water Diversion, was carried out, and the concrete cracks were found at some parts such as tunnel body section, outlet sluice section and spilling chute section. A classification work was conducted to these cracks according to the regulations of MRP. Through research, the I-class crack was treated by chute-cutting and crack patching, and the II-class crack was treated by chemical grouting. The treatment process and attentions were presented. The effects of different method were evaluated after the treatment, it shows that the I-class crack was treated with satisfying effect, but the mending effect for II-class crack needs to be strengthened.
